About
João Schuller
E-commerce professional from Santa Catarina, Brazil. I've spent five years working inside online retail — product catalog management, marketplaces, logistics integrations, email automation, analytics. The kind of work that teaches you quickly where theory ends and real constraints begin.
I work as an E-commerce Analyst and Product Owner at the largest flooring and tile retailer in southern Brazil. I run sprints in Jira, prioritize the backlog by direct revenue impact, and do technical alignment with the dev team. Recent work includes a logistics integration that reopened sales to the Southeast region (projected +40% in e-commerce revenue), a full multichannel email marketing platform with abandoned cart flows, and a brand site built entirely with AI agents orchestrated through Claude. No developer involved. Governance rules written in MD files before a single line of code was generated.
That last project is where this blog comes from.
I'm not a developer. I don't write code. But I've shipped software to production using AI, and the difference between that working and failing comes down to one thing: whether you treat the model as a tool you control or a magic box you hope for the best from. The model writes the code. You write the rules it follows.
I started ThePromptEra because I kept running into the same gap: professionals who understand their business deeply but haven't figured out how to use AI in a way that actually holds up under pressure. The tools are real. The results are real. The gap is in how people approach them.
Here you'll find practical takes on Claude, prompt engineering, AI tools, and automation for people who work in e-commerce, digital marketing, and technology. No hype. No "AI will change everything" content. Just what I've tested, what I use daily, and what I think is worth knowing.
